Brand New BDS Suspension 5" Lift Kit with Front & Rear FOX 2.5 HTO Shocks (Part #BDS767FPP).

Take your 2020-2025 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD 4WD to the next level by installing this 5-inch lift kit by BDS Suspension. For maximum ground clearance, BDS designed a No Torsion Bar Drop System where the torsion bars are mounted directly to the top of the lower a-arm eliminating the need to drop the torsion bar cross-member. Designed to improve the stance, performance, and capability this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 37" tires. This kit takes advantage of BDS's tried and true high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for great on road handling characteristics. Up front, the kit utilizes torsion bar relocation brackets, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers along with a multipiece differential relocation brackets and heavy duty skid plates built for off-road protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. These combined with the provided sway bar drops, stainless steel brake lines, supplied hardware and more provide a comprehensive front suspension lift ready for whatever you throw at it. In the rear BDS offers replacement lift blocks and u-bolts to lift and level that stance. The lift block installs in place of the stock block and retains ride quality and load capacity. Also included, BDS supplies brake line and ABS line relocation brackets allow the use of factory brake lines. Lastly are a matching set of FOX 2.5 HTO Performance Series shocks.

Notes:

  • Requires frame bracket modification.
  • Torsion Bar Tool required to load/unload torsion bars, The GM specified tool is #CH48809.
  • Models with two-piece rear driveshafts will require a carrier bearing drop kit.
  • Factory 17-18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference, stock 20" wheels can be reinstalled with up to a 35x12.50 tire.
  • In some cases vehicles used in 4WD on the highway regularly could potentially experience a minor front driveline vibration. If this occurs we recommend replacing the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan style driveshaft.
  • Some minor trimming will be required with certain wheel/tire combination. This is normal with most aftermarket tire/wheel fitment on Chevy/GM trucks. Trimming will normally included the bottom edge of the inner fender shrouds and/or lower corner of front bumper valance. As a rule of thumb, deeper backspacing and shorter/narrower tires will reduce/eliminate trimming required. Further trimming tips are included at the end of this instruction sheet.
  • Will NOT work with AT4X or ZR2 models, lower control arm profile is different

FOX 2.5 Performance Series HTO Shocks:

  • The FOX 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is a bolt-on shock loaded with position-sensitive technology, vehicle-specific valving, and larger pistons to improve on and off-road performance. A type II anodized aluminum body efficiently dissipates heat and prevents corrosion.
  • The 2.5-inch shock body features an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen, optimizing damping.
  • Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology offers usable position-sensitive rebound damping control on and off the pavement. HTO reduces harsh top-outs and increases comfort by forcing shock oil through a secondary shim stack to slow down shock shaft speed; HTO is particularly beneficial after installing heavier, aggressive tires and applications lifted higher than OEM specification.
  • Bolt-on 2.5 Performance Series HTO shocks to increase damping capacity and ride in comfort with position-sensitive rebound control.
