Brand New BDS Suspension 4.5" Lift Kit with FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks & Leaf Springs. Compatible with 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ with Dana 35 Rear Axle (Part #BDS435FS).

BDS steps up the performance and capability of the Jeep Cherokee XJ with a 4.5-inch suspension lift kit. Designed to improve stance this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 32" tires at an affordable price.

The lift kit includes front BDS Pro-Ride Coil Springs, a heavy duty adjustable front track bar that is utilized to re-center the front axle, bump stop extensions, stainless braided brake lines, sway bar quick disconnects to unlock the front suspension's potential to flex while maintaining quiet on road operation, and heavy duty front upper and lower adjustable control arms. The rear kit utilizes Glide-Ride leaf springs for maximum travel, stainless braided brake line, and extended shackles that let the spring flex. Finish of the kit with your choice of specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks to offer improved damper performance.

A pair of full-length, gas-specific, Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel, our direct OE replacement coil springs are engineered with properly sized wire diameter. This results in maximum reliability without premature coil bind.

Built to outperform, BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that provides a smooth ride with any load. This is accomplished with an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring design. Upgrading to BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs will provide flexibility throughout the suspension cycle.

Notes:

• CV style rear driveshaft (not included) and slip yoke eliminator kit is required.
• The Jeep Cherokee was produced with two different rear axles (Chrysler 8.25 or Dana 35). You will need to measure your rear u-bolts to ensure that you get the correct new u-bolts. Basically, just measure the diameter of the axle or the I.D. of your rear u-bolts. Chrysler axles require 3" wide u-bolts and Dana 35 axles require 2-3/4" wide u-bolts. Some 1987-90 models came with a Dana 44.
