Brand New BDS Suspension 3" Lift Kit with FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks, Block Kit & Add-A-Leaf. Compatible with 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ with Chrysler 8.25 Rear Axle (Part #BDS430FS).

Improve the style and handling of your 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ with this 3-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability of the Cherokee XJ, this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 31" tires.

Up front the lift kit includes Glide-Ride coil springs, extended sway bar links, and a transfer case drop to maintain proper driveline angles. In the rear the kit utilizes a long thin add-a-leaf to add height without creating a harsh ride and a 5/8" lift block to level out the Jeep. These kits are rounded out with your choice of specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks to offer improved damper performance.

A pair of full-length, Jeep-specific, Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied to provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel, our direct OE replacement coil springs are engineered with properly sized wire diameter. This results in maximum reliability without premature coil bind.

NOTE:

• Verify the make/model of rear axle prior to ordering.
• The Jeep Cherokee was produced with two different rear axles (Chrysler 8.25 or Dana 35). You will need to measure your rear u-bolts to ensure that you get the correct new u-bolts. Basically, just measure the diameter of the axle or the I.D. of your rear u-bolts. Chrysler axles require 3" wide u-bolts and Dana 35 axles require 2-3/4" wide u-bolts. Some 1987-90 models came with a Dana 44.
• Transfer case lowering kit is not required for 2WD models.
