Brand New BDS Suspension 4" Lift Kit with No Shocks, Front Leaf Springs, & Rear Leaf Springs (Part #BDS404).

Update the style of your Jeep Cherokee SJ Full Size, Wagoneer, and Grand Wagoneer with this 4-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 33" tires.

Built to outperform, BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that provides a smooth ride with any load. This is accomplished with an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring design. Upgrading to BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs will provide flexibility throughout the suspension cycle.

Up front the lift kit includes Glide-Ride leaf springs and brake line brackets. In the rear this kit utilizes high-strength leaf springs.

  • Jeep:
    • 1974-1983 Cherokee SJ
    • 1974-1989 Wagoneer
    • 1984-1989 Grand Wagoneer
    • 1974-1988 J10
    • 1974-1988 J20

Notes:

  • 083402 Pitman arm will increase turning radius. (cannot turn as sharp)
  • Not recommended for Wagoneers or Cherokees with front and/or rear track rods.
  • 1974-1975 models must have 131" wheelbase and 7200# GVWR or more for #004408 rear springs to fit.
  • Some 1974 J20s with stock 401 come with a rear 15/16" spring eye stud.
  • #004402 and #004408 come with OE rubber bushings installed.
  • Rear shock mount may need to be relocated.
  • If equipped with Dana 44 rear axle will require a 9/16 X3-1/4" X 7-1/2" rear U-bolt. (Not supplied by BDS)
  • Recommended Tires & Wheels: 33 x 12.5 with 15 x 8 and 3.5 in. Backspace
