Brand New BDS Suspension 4.5" Lift Kit with Nitro NX2 Series Shocks, Leaf Springs, & Long Arm Conversion (Part #BDS1427H).

Maximize the capability of your 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ with this 4.5-inch lift kit with long arm conversion from BDS Suspension. Designed to improve stance this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 32" tires. By maximizing the length of both the upper and lower control arms, BDS has minimized caster change for optimal handling and minimized road forces. The control arm geometry is setup with a massive belly pan that incorporates the link mounts and is built to smash rocks. Believe it or not, this system is completely bolt-on with no welding to the unibody required!

Up front the lift kit includes a belly pan with new pivot mounts, heavy duty lower flex arms and adjustable upper flex arms to optimize handling characteristics, 4.5" Pro-Ride coil springs capable of full coil bind and bump stop extensions to control the compression travel, but increase wheel travel. Also included are braided stainless steel brake lines, ultimate sway bar disconnects, and front adjustable track bar with flex joint fits into the existing frame mount to improve the steering and handling geometry. The rear kit utilizes Glide-Ride leaf springs for maximum travel and stainless braided brake line to allow the springs to flex.

Notes:

• System only works with 4.0L motor and automatic transmission.
• '96 and earlier models may require a longer emergency brake cable.
• CV style rear driveshaft (not included) and slip yoke eliminator kit is required.
• The Jeep Cherokee was produced with two different rear axles (Chrysler 8.25 or Dana 35). You will need to measure your rear u-bolts to ensure that you get the correct new u-bolts. Basically, just measure the diameter of the axle or the I.D. of your rear u-bolts. Chrysler axles require 3" wide u-bolts and Dana 35 axles require 2-3/4" wide u-bolts. Some 1987-90 models came with a Dana 44.
