Ridetech HQ S550/S650 Mustang Air Suspension with Sway Bars (ShockWave front + CoolRide rear) are the latest to hit the market for the popular Blue Oval muscle car. While the car still bears the ‘Mustang’ name, Ford has evolved the persona of the traditional pony car over the S550 & S650 generations to assume a more capable grand tourer role. As such the car has adopted an independent rear suspension layout and enjoys more capable sports-car like handling. That said, there is always room left on the table for improvement with factory muscle, and Ridetech’s adjustable air ride suspension allows for an aggressive yet functional stance and improved handling performance without sacrificing ride quality or comfort.

When you’re corner-carving in your Mustang, the last thing you want to encounter is excessive body roll. Our Ridetech S550/S650 Mustang Front and Rear Sway Bars are larger in diameter and adjustable, making them ideal for harnessing a muscle cars desire to roll-over during a cornering event.

• Cars equipped with factory electronic shock systems require an ‘Electronic Shock Simulator’ kit from Shock Delete Engineering.
  
• Does not fit 2024-up cars with electronic shocks.
  
• Negative camber settings of more than -1 degree will require Ridetech front sway bar.  (Included in this package)

• Front and Rear Sway Bar:
  
  • Front Bar features two-position adjustability allows you to dial in additional bar stiffness, adapting the bar rate to your car’s individual setup (ride height, spring rate, tire compound, intended track surface or discipline, etc.). This allows additional setup refinement regardless of the motorsport discipline.
  • Front Bar Dimensions: 35mm, 1.375” bar thickness compared to OE 32mm, 1.26” measurement, .250” tubing wall thickness
    Front Sway Bar Rates: First setting is 500 ft-lbs, Second setting is 616 ft-lbs compared to stock bar (370 ft-lbs)
  • Rear Bar features three-position adjustability allows you to dial in additional bar stiffness, adapting the bar rate to your car’s individual setup (ride height, spring rate, tire compound, intended track surface or discipline, etc.). This allows additional setup refinement regardless of the motorsport discipline.
  • Rear Bar Dimensions: 25.4mm, 1” bar thickness compared to OE 21.7mm, .85” measurement, .125” tubing wall thickness
    
  • Rear Sway Bar Rates: First setting is 165 ft-lbs, Second setting is 210 ft-lbs, Third setting is 264 ft lbs, Stock bar rate is 125 ft lbs
