Brand New Edelbrock Super Victor 4500 23 Degree Intake Manifold For Chevrolet 262-400 Small-Block V8 (Part #2970).

Edelbrock Super Victor 4500 23 degree standard port location intake manifold is designed for small-block Chevys with 4500 Series carburetors and 23 degree heads. This intake manifold has a large runner cross-sectional area (3.2 square inches) and a highly efficient cloverleaf plenum design. In dyno tests on a 358-inch small-block, #2970 made 10 horsepower more than the best competitor's manifold!

Installation Notes:
  • No provisions for exhaust heated chokes or EGR.
  • Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
  • Optimum cylinder head port opening size should be as close as possible to the size of the gasket being used.
  • Hardened washers must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
  • Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.
  • NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal.
  • To ensure maximum performance and a proper seal, Edelbrock gaskets which are specifically designed and manufactured for use with Edelbrock parts must be used.
  • Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer. Improper installation will void your warranty and may result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage.
  • It is the responsibility of the end user to verify conformity to a particular racing association's rules regarding manifold dimensions, fitment to a template, etc.
