Brand New Edelbrock Victor 15-18 Degree Intake Manifold for Small-Block Chevy (Part #2859).
Edelbrock Victor Glidden intake manifold is for all-out nitrous-assisted drag race applications. Designed with noted drag racer Billy Glidden, it features intake runners with a large cross-section area of 3.2 square-inches for maximum high-end horsepower in engines operating from 5000 to 8500 rpm with GM or Edelbrock 18-degree heads. Carb mount flange and plenum are machined for 4500 Series carburetors and require port matching and blending prior to use. The Edelbrock Victor Glidden is a single-plane, high-rise intake designed for maximum race-winning power at higher engine speeds.
- For use with 15 and 18 Degree Chevy with 4500 Series Carburetor.
- Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
- Optimum cylinder head port opening size should be as close as possible to the size of the gasket being used.
- Hardened washers must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
- Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.
- NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal.
- Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer. Improper installation will void your warranty and may result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage.
