Brand New Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold for 1968-1976 Cadillac 472-500 Engines (Part #2115).

Edelbrock part #2116 Performer intake manifold is based on the popular and powerful Edelbrock #2101, this dual-plane intake is designed for the street rod, industrial and engine swap market utilizing 262-400 C.I.D. Chevy V8's with 1996 and later Vortec (L31) cast iron or the Edelbrock E-Tec aluminum heads. Edelbrock's Patented Dual-plane, low-rise design with a 180-degree firing order greatly improves torque over a wide rpm range for excellent throttle response from off-idle through 5500rpm. Manifold has provisions for external water bypass and may be used on either Vortec blocks or 1995 and earlier blocks. No provision for exhaust heated chokes.

Installation Notes:

• When using Quadrajet, #2115 accepts divorced or electric choke only
• The carb pad is 3" taller than stock, and will not fit many stock applications.
• Due to the design and leg configuration of the Edelbrock manifold, the stock air conditioning compressor and bracket will not fit. The mounting bosses are cast into the manifold only to facilitate fabrication of bracketry, if desired.
• Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, Do NOT use end seal gaskets.
• Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
