THESE HEADERS ARE DESIGNED FOR STRAIGHT AXLE VEHICLES AND MAY REQUIRE SOME INNER FENDER PANEL TRIMMING AS WELL AS FIREWALL SEAM CLEARANCING, DEPENDING ON YOUR APPLICATION AND ENGINE SET BACK LOCATION. TIRE CLEARANCE IS GENERALLY NOT AN ISSUE WITH STRAIGHT AXLE VEHICLES, BUT WE RECOMMEND CONSULTING THE MEASUREMENT CHART BELOW TO INSURE THESE HEADERS WILL FIT YOUR VEHICLE AND CLEAR YOUR PARTICULAR TIRES BEFORE ORDERING. ALTHOUGH WE HAVE SEEN THESE HEADERS USED SUCCESSFULLY ON INDEPENDENT FRONT SUSPENSIONS WE STRONGLY ADVISE MEASURING THE VEHICLE, BOTTOMED OUT TO INSURE THESE HEADERS WILL FIT YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE ORDERING.
PAINT WARNING
THESE HEADERS ARE PAINTED WITH A HIGH HEAT DULL BLACK PAINT. IT WILL GENERALLY DULL EVEN MORE WHEN THE ENGINE IS STARTED. THE HEADER PAINT WILL SMOKE AND LET OFF AN ODOR THE FIRST FEW TIMES THE ENGINE IS UP TO TEMPERATURE AND THE BLACK FINISH WILL BECOME DULLER TURNING CLOSER TO GRAY IN COLOR. IF EXHAUST TEMPERATURES ARE EXTREME AT START THE PAINT WILL BLISTER AND PEEL. THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON HEADER PAINT.
HEADER RETURN POLICY:
PLEASE REFER TO THE HEADER MEASUREMENT CHART BELOW TO MAKE SURE THE HEADER WILL FIT YOUR VEHICLE AND APPLICATION BEFORE ORDERING. IN THE EVENT YOU ORDER A HEADER THAT WILL NOT FIT YOUR VEHICLE AND APPLICATION, YOU MAY RETURN THEM FOR A REFUND, PROVIDING YOU DO NOT DAMAGE THE HEADER. WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE HEADER THE FINISH WILL BE PROTECTED AND MUST REMAIN UNSCRATCHED FOR A REFUND. IF YOU BEND OR DIMPLE ANY OF THE TUBES OR SCRATCH THE FINISH, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SELL THE HEADER AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROCESS A REFUND. USE CARE WHEN TRIAL FITTING HEADERS.
