Brand New Pair of New Southwest Speed Polished Stainless Steel Hugger Tight-Fit Headers for Small Block Chevrolet Engines (Part #440-2068).

This Southwest Speed pair of headers is designed specifically for Small Block Chevrolet (SBC) engines. They feature 1-5/8" primary tubes with a tight-fit, block-hugging design and include 2-1/4" reducers. This setup is optimized to improve engine performance while offering better fuel mileage.

• Does Not Fit:
  • 1955-1957 Chevy Cars
  • Camaros or other modern vehicles which have a crossmember below the engine's center two exhaust ports.

Notes:

• Refer to measurement chart to ensure headers will fit your vehicle and application.
• Works with angle spark plugs. The port openings on the headers are round and work on heads with round or rectangle ports.
• Can be used with most oil filter systems and transmission/starter combinations.

Polished Stainless Steel Warning:

Stainless header tubing when exposed to exhaust temperature will cause the finish to change color which will vary with the exhaust temperatures. Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished out when utilizing Blue-away or Simi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature, they may change color again. No warranty or returns on polished stainless steel exhaust items once they have been installed.

Header Return Policy:

Please refer to the header measurement chart below to make sure the header will fit your vehicle and application before ordering. In the event you order a header that will not fit your vehicle and application, you may return them for a refund, providing you don't damage the header. When you receive the header, the finish will be protected and must remain unscratched for a refund. If you bend or dimple any of the tubes or scratch the finish, we will not be able to sell the header and will not be able to process a refund. Use care when trial fitting headers. Repack them well to prevent damage returning them to us. We won't process refunds for scratched, dimpled, dented, or bent headers.
