TRANSMISSION CROSSMEMBER,63-72 GM TRUCK

Brand New Southwest Speed Bolt-In Tubular Transmission Crossmember for 1963-1972 Chevy & GMC Trucks (400-7096).

This Southwest Speed bolt-in tubular transmission crossmember is for installing a Powerglide, TH350, TH400, or 700R4 automatic transmission in a 1963-1972 Chevy and GMC truck. This crossmember will also work with GM manual transmissions including later model Muncie and Saginaw 3 and 4 speed manual transmissions. This is not a universal fit unit. This is a direct bolt-in for the 1967-1972 Chevy and GMC trucks, but will require drilling the mounting holes on the 1963-1966 Chevy and GMC trucks. The tubular crossmember also increases exhaust pipe clearance in critical areas. This crossmember is shipped complete and includes the necessary hardware to mount the crossmember to existing tail housing mount. If a tail housing mount is needed part #400-7031 is recommended.
