This Southwest Speed Chrome Manual Steering Rack & Pinion Assembly is a stock replacement part for 1974-1978 Ford Mustang II, 1974-1978 Ford Pinto, and 1975-1978 Mercury Bobcat. Features 9/16"-26 spline input shaft, with 45" of overall length, and 16" center to center mounting holes. The Inner tie-rod pivots points are 24 1/2" center to center, & 3 1/2 turns lock-to-lock with 5 1/4" of rack travel total. Giving this manual rack & pinion unit a ratio of 1.5 to 1. This would equate to approximately 20 to 1 at the wheel with a mild variation for different steering arm lengths. This listing includes both inner tie rod ends & dust boots, and is in stock ready to ship today.
