  • Front End Assembly I-Beam Axle Kit (#104-8062):
    • These front suspension packages make it easier to begin transforming your Model A frame into a rolling chassis. Kit includes a 48" axle, 27" radius rods, leaf spring and shackles, lower shock mounts and hardware
    • Features 48" kingpin-to-kingpin I-beam axle, 4" dropped
    • These precision made 4" dropped I-Beam axles accept 1928-36 Ford spindles and have 2-1/4" axle bosses
    • Dropped I-beam axles feature a one-piece design cast from high-strength 65-45-12 annealed ductile iron
  • Stainless Steel 3 3/4" Drop Steering Arms (#101-96142):
    • Arms measure 3 3/8" center-to-center on the spindle bolt holes, which should fit any 1937-1948 Ford Spindle
    • Accepts 11/16" Ford tapered tie rod ends (both the top and bottom are tapered to allow tie rods to mount above or below the arm as needed); you can also drill straight through the holes with a 5/8" bit to use spherical rod ends
    • Gives 3 3/4" Drop
  • Tie Rod Kit with 11/16" Tie Rod Ends - 44" (#102-1126):
    • Features 7/8" O.D. tube pre-threaded with 11/16"-18 LH and RH thread pitch
    • Measurements are eye to eye or center of stud to stud with tie rods threaded half way in to allow adjustment
    • 7 degree tapered tie rods and jam nuts included
    • Can be cut down in length, you would need to tap the thread further inside of tube, generally done on RH side
    • Adjustable from 1/2" shorter to 3/4" longer

    • 56" Overall width:
      • 56" is measured outside-of-axle-flange to outside-of-axle-flange, in other words, where the wheel bolts on to where the wheel bolts on

    • Housing is built housing-centered with a 0.94" pinion offset
    • Steel 3" diameter tubes
    • Small webbed-style center easily accepts triangulated 4-link brackets
    • Axles include:

    • The Axle flanges on this rear end are the Big Bearing Ford (New Style), also known as "Torino", which fit the Currie brakes perfectly

    • These Brake kits require at least 15" diameter wheels

        • Featuring both 5 x 4 1/2" and 5 x 4 3/4" bolt patterns
      • Single Piston Brake Calipers with Pads
      • Backing Plate / Caliper Mounting Bracket Plates with Drum-Style Parking Brake Assemblies installed
      • Necessary bolts, nuts, and registers to install the braking system on both rear wheels
  • Parking Brake Cable Kit:
    • Connects to the Currie Parking Brake Assemblies, then comes together to join the stock cable behind the transmission

    • Steel braided brake lines, banjo fittings & bolts, and chassis fittings to connect the calipers to the hard lines

  • Hard Line Kit:
    • Steel hard brake line tubing to connect the chassis fittings to the included rubber hose
    • Rubber hose connects those hard lines to the line on the frame
    • Note: Tubing bending is generally necessary for the installation of these lines
  • 9" Ford Rear End Third Member with Posi Trac-Loc:
    • This kit comes with a 3.70 ratio gear, which is a good cruising ratio. We have ratios from 3.50 to 5.00 that can be substituted in. If you would like a different ratio besides the 3.70, just make sure to request that.
    • 9" Ford case is reconditioned and sold completely assembled with:
      • New 31 Spline Trac-Loc Posi Unit
        • 4 Pin limited slip trac loc
        • Brand new, not rebuilt
        • This is a clutch style posi unit
        • Using this product does require friction modifier in the gear lube
