Brand New Hooker Blackheart Transmission Crossmember. Fits 1994-1998 Mustang with Coyote/LS Engine & Transmission Swap (Part #71222012HKR).

Hooker Blackheart has quickly become the leader in engine swap system design and we are excited to announce new LS and Coyote engine swap products for 1994-1998 Ford Mustangs. This Hooker Blackheart engine swap transmission crossmember is designed to be used with Hooker Blackheart engine mount adapter plates or mounting brackets designed for vehicles that are equipped with stock OE (1996-2004 only) or specific AJE, Team Z, or Maximum Motorsports aftermarket engine K-members. 

Fits:

  • Ford:
    • 1994-1998 Mustang with Coyote/LS Engine Swap
    • Adapter plates are needed for this crossmember to be used with various transmissions.
  • LS Swap Adapter Plates:
    • Powerglide or TH350 transmission - 71222014HKR 
    • TKO, TKX, or 4L60-70 transmission - 71223012HKR 
  • Coyote Swap Adapter Plates: 
    • Powerglide - BHS508 
    • TKO, TKX, or TR-3550 transmission - 71223012HKR

NOTE: All transmissions covered require the use of an adapter. This crossmember is designed to be installed with Hooker Blackheart Polyurethane mounts (71223030HKR in red or 71223029HKR in black), Prothane 7-1604 poly mount, or Anchor 2268 rubber style transmission mount for all transmission applications listed for this crossmember. TKO, TKX, and TR-3550 transmission extension housings that are drilled/tapped only with the Ford mount pattern will need to be drilled/tapped with the narrower pattern required to attach the above-mentioned GM-style mounts. The dual-arch exhaust passages are provided for installation of available Hooker Blackheart 2.5" and 3" exhaust systems for this application, or any custom system of your choice.
